The content/ app is good but do not subscribe unless you have the latest Apple TV. AirPlay worked fine when I used it during the free period and now all you get is a titled screenshot with the app subscription. I like the content but I get sick of watching on a mobile device and Im not upgrading to a new appletv when I already have two others. Worst of all - customer service is by email at about a three day delay.

I bought a monthly subscription and have been binge watching black sails. When I go to watch my show after a night of my Apple TV being in sleep mode, the app does not register that I am subscribed. So I have to restart my Apple TV every time I want to watch my show. After restarting my Apple TV the app works fine.

Better than HBO nows app & their app is great.

I assume Starz hired a few kindergarteners to write the lastest version of this app. And you know what they got what they paid for too - crap period. If you think Im paying for your service again youre company is nuts what a stupid idiot decided to drop Comcast dont care whos at fault put it back or Im dropping Starz from my Tv.

One minute I can stream the content I pay for on my Chromecast the next Im locked out. Extremely unhappy with this change.

Since the update, Comcast/Xfinity customers can not login to watch content at all. I usually watch through my Roku player, and this is not impossible. These apps are most likely the future of television, and are likely to have some growing pains, I suppose, but how come when I pay for something like the WWE Network, it is seamless, I only have to login once, it’s easy to pay them, and I can watch on literally any device, yet with Starz, HBO, etc., I’m constantly being asked for my login information, which will always require me to have a second device handy to put a code in, or they just take away login information altogether. Odd how Vince McMahon and the world of Professional Wrestling got this completely right, and these big time cable networks are getting it completely wrong. Put the McMahons in charge of all of this, apparently, and it will be much smoother.

Used previous versions of this app for years. So-so mechanically, but decent content. Now, I can no longer access Starz, even though nothing has changed except the App "update." Stars should be embarassed. Im deleting Starz from my cable package too. Why pay for it if you cant watch it, right?

This is a Starz problem, not an Internet problem. The new app sounds great with the OTT option but now Comcast wont let us use it. Lame.

Not being able to access the app is a valid concern. If you cant work out this issue with comcast you are 50% responsible. Very disappointed.

I have very rarely reviewed any apps, but I have had the Hulu and Netflix apps for years, use the Xfinity mobile app, and briefly HBO Now when it first came out, always experiencing little glitches in function, and irritated that Hulu now shows ads when you pay, but Starz works flawlessly. Wow, it is possible! I use it with Chromecast. I got it just to watch Black Sails, but I didnt realize how many other great shows are on Starz, and a lot of popular new movies. Excellent app for a reasonable price!

Like everyone, was subscribed to EncorePlay, now everything is locked. Unable to see the movies I was watching on my iPad until the merging happened. Boohoohoo!!!!!

App randomly drops TV providers from list and tries to force you to pay EVEN IF YOU ALREADY SUBSCRIBE THROUGH YOUR TV PROVIDER! Using the Xfinity app to watch content. This app is only useful if you dont already have STARZ. If you do, you get double billed. RIP OFF!

Updated to this app from starz play and there is no support for Comcast/Xfinity what the hell! I want starz play back!!

Ive its deleted your app. I already pay for your services through my cable provider and WILL NOT pay additional monthly fees for the use of your app. Once Starz and Comcast/Xfinity can come to an agreement then maybe I can give a better review, but until then no. Im extremely frustrated and may cancel my subscription through Xfinity as well.

These apps were not broken. Why they combined Encore and Starz into one app and gave no access to current, paying customers is beyond me. I deleted the app and will be cancelling Starz/Encore bundle until they get their app together. What a ripoff

They should have kept their stand alone streaming app and cable friendly apps SEPARATE! Just like HBO and Showtime does. Combining the two is what irritated Comcast.

This could be the best app, but it keeps freezing. Ill keep the faith because you have the best selection by far. Please fix it.

Fix the app or Im cancelling my subscription-open app to nothing but a black screen - not paying $8.99 a month for zero content
